You and your partner is now going steady for more than 5 months and in this stage, a relationship is usually tested in terms of commitment. If you feel there is coldness between you and your partner, it is best to give him/her space. There are things that each individual is experiencing at a certain stage in a relationship. It is best to let them be and think things over.

In addition to the activities you can do while you are away with your partner, you can also list down the changes that have happened between the two of you. So when your partner is now prepared to open his/her feelings at the recent situation, you can also point to him/her the things that have changed in time. This way, you can resolve the problems if there are any.

Do not ever email, call or visit your partner while he/she is spending some time alone. It is best to just leave him/her first to think things over. Wait for him/her to contact you and consult you of what is bothering with him/her lately. But if he/she does not contact you within sometime, say a month or so, then you know that the relationship is over.

In this stage of relationship, it is really frustrating to see that your partner is having second thoughts about you. But it would be best to just give him/her more time and space to think. Do not beg him/her of loving you or promising to be a better man or woman.

It may be difficult to adjust if the relationship has already ended but there are many good reasons for you to just accept and move on.
